Technical context: OMR SMB error 5.21% versus page-omr 6.38% (~18% relative reduction). GPU inference: 6–8 seconds and $0.001–0.005 per page, excluding total service expense. AMT prototype: ~0.35-second on-device inference; Live visualization has additional latency. EPR remains in training. The MIREX 2026 task is Music Performance Difficulty Prediction. The official-hosted team paper confirms the task, method and authors; it does not establish placement. Second Prize is reported by the founders, pending an official results citation or award notice. Score annotations are illustrative; lesson summaries and handwritten annotations are distinct workflows.
Business model and revenue projection are illustrative planning assumptions, not achieved revenue or approved live pricing. USD pricing: $120 per individual per year; $10,000 per institution per year for 100 seats; $10 per 20 Vision Notes pages. Toolbox annual spend is modeled at $60 (six packs). Year 1 / 2 / 3 average individual paid accounts: 2,000 / 10,000 / 25,000; average institutions: 5 / 25 / 75; annual toolbox buyers: 2,000 / 8,000 / 20,000. Resulting annual gross revenue: $0.41M / $1.93M / $4.95M. Individual account counts exclude institution-funded seats. Toolbox purchases are incremental paid transactions. Figures exclude fees, refunds, acquisition and operating expenses; they are not profit or ARR. AMT/EPR tool revenue, API usage revenue and grant income are excluded; the institutional licenses above are included. Adoption and willingness to pay remain unvalidated. Model benchmarks are company-reported; Benchmark context is retained here and in the speaker notes.
The supplied $88,000 figure is a working total, not audited cash received. It is not used as a headline in this deck. Award announcements do not establish disbursement. The Spark discrepancy and possible Fuel/stipend overlap must be reconciled before publishing a total.
MIREX Second Prize, Technical.ly RealLIST Startups 2025 Honorable Mention, and Maryland Student Ventures 2026 showcase participation are retained as founder-reported records pending supporting notices. RealLIST is not described as main-list inclusion. Fuel cohort selection, Peabody coverage and MIC's feature are linked above. Trailblazers recognizes Crystal individually. None is counted as additional grant money.
Music education is the initial commercial focus. OMR, AMT and EPR are the team's music-understanding research program, not a claim that comparable research or products do not exist. The repertoire library, score interaction, annotations and AI lesson summaries are described from founder updates. No automatic two-way integration between handwriting and lesson summaries is claimed. Responsive accompaniment is in development; EPR is in training; games, music video creation and usage-based API distribution are future directions. No fabricated total-addressable-market estimate is used.
